Next-Level Sound Healer™ Level 1 FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does Level 1 training take to complete?
You have 12 months to complete your certification at your own pace. The program can be completed in as little as 9–12 weeks. The NLSH™ Level 1 program on LearnWorlds provides 24/7 access, and after certification, you maintain access to the course materials for the life of the program.
For the best integration of the material, True Harmony Academy recommends dedicating about 1 hour most days for 3 months. However, the asynchronous format allows each student to create a manageable study schedule.
Learning to play instruments is a fine motor skill. Motor-learning research shows that frequent practice produces better mastery than less frequent, longer practice sessions. Even 5–10 minutes of daily or nearly daily technique practice will produce more sustainable progress than completing all your practice hours on one day per week.
If you need additional guidance and support, please attend Eva’s office hours or schedule a 1-1 coaching session HERE.

Are instruments required to begin the level 1 course?
No specific instruments or prior musical experience are required to begin the NLSH™ Level 1 Foundations training. Nearly everyone already has a vocal instrument, hands, and other objects that can produce rhythms. If you already have instruments, the principles of sound therapy taught in the course can be applied to any instrument.
Guidance and recommendations are provided upon enrollment for students who want to gather some of the specific instruments taught in the training. However, students often find it helpful to review the course content covering instrument basics before making purchases.
Students may attend “Ask Eva” Q&A office hours for more specific guidance or book a private mentorship session.

Does certification mean I am licensed in sound healing?
No. Currently, there are NO government agencies worldwide that certify, license, or regulate sound healing certificate programs. Upon completing any global sound healing course, you receive a certificate of completion, regardless of what the school calls the certificate. There are no industry educational standards at a regulatory level.
What DOES “certification” mean? A sound healing certificate is only as valuable as the quality of the curriculum and training that prepares the practitioner. The Next-Level Sound Healer™ training program is designed to equip students according to high educational standards. Our Level 2 practicum is modeled after other complementary wellness trainings, including yoga therapy and massage therapy.
A strong self-governing movement within the global therapeutic sound community is working to elevate sound healing as a professional complementary wellness practice. By establishing educational and ethical standards, organizations such as the International Sound Therapy Association (ISTA) are paving a path toward professionalism.
